Take a look at this blog where a new feature has been introduced to enable VCN flow logs.
Earlier we can enable flow logs at subnet level from OCI Logging service.
Now with this feature you can enable logs at VCN and resource level as well with filtering.
Navigate by searching for flow logs or hit the url directly it will take you to the flow logs page if you are already logged in.
If you are using the logging service page to create service logs like before there will be an extra field called capture filter and it needs to be created from the VCN page. So best option in console would be to create it from the network command center page.
You can create capture filter to get only the specific network logs .For example if you want logs for only reject traffic you can select reject under Traffic disposition. You can start with all traffic and later apply different filters to get specific logs for analysis.
Once the logs are available in OCI Logging you can use service connector to move the data to Logging Analytics for analysis and use VCN Flow logs Dashboard as well. You can further customise the dashboard as you wish.
